HUETOR GOES BACK-TO-BACK IN DOOMBEN CUP

Having overcome an eye infection that plagued the spring of 2022 and could have ended his career, HUETOR (Archipenko) was back to the peak of his powers when taking out the G1 Doomben Cup for the second consecutive year.

Finishing on the flanks of ZAAKI in the G2 Hollindale Stakes two weeks prior flagged that HUETOR was capable of reproducing a career best.

Ridden this year by Ryan Moloney, Moloney was able to weave his way through traffic having had a conservative run in transit before hitting the front with 50m to go.

Since arriving in Australia in August of 2021, HUETOR has won approximately AUD$1.6m and will look to add to that tally in The Q22 over 2200m on 10th June at Eagle Farm.

A huge congratulations must go to the connections of the horse and the whole team at Snowden Racing who nursed HUETOR through a very challenging recovery.
